How we met
Worlds apart but wired to meet.
Messages turned into long conversations.
Curiosity satisfied by intellectual talks over coffee.
Different faiths, cultures, and languages, yet connected by genuine curiosity, mutual respect, deep care, understanding, and a love that
knows no boundaries.
Fast forward to
Asking the what-ifs, had hard conversations, and learned each other a little deeper. Over countless coffees, matcha dates, laughs, and a few tears... We talked about life, faith, values, and everything in between.
We faced the uncertainties, found our answers, and kept choosing each other. Through it all, we built trust, understanding, and a little more confidence in us.
We took a leap of faith, dreamed together, and believed in a beautiful life with each other.
The proposal
We aimed to meet each other's families. We learned more about our roots. Encouraged us to feel more certain and assured. Our feelings only grew stronger every day, after that. We're now convinced in us.
It is just the perfect time.
At sunrise after camping in the middle of the desert alongside a small lake where a group of ducks swam peacefully, the ring popped out with a proposal to a life together.
With Caix's family nearby, witnessing Omar down on one knee, that blessed moment was gladly accepted with a lovely embrace. Such a beautiful scene that brought warmth on a cool December morning breeze.
